About Your Writing Coach
Ebony Nicole is the founder and CEO of Ebony Nicole Smith Consulting, LLC, a boutique writing and publishing company based in Rochester, New York. She is a writing coach and publishing engineer to faith-based men and women who desire to release the book God gave them. Ebony Nicole designs and structures a personalized plan for her clients to ensure they do what has been commissioned.
She is a 2015 ROC Awards nominee for Author of the Year, recipient of the 2019 Mayoral Recognition for Small Business, and recipient of the 2020 100 Successful Women in Business award and 2022 Monroe County Recognition for M/WBE Certification. She is a recipient of the 2023 Black Men Achieve President’s Award and the 2024 RnB Wednesday’s Unsung Heroes Award.
With a wealth of experience and a proven track record, Ebony Nicole has written and published over ten books, spanning various genres from novels and workbooks to devotionals and journals. Her catalog is ever-expanding, with many more ideas waiting to be released.
To date, Coach has over seventy clients spread all over the United States, from New York to Florida and across the county to Texas. Her personal goal is to have clients in each state by 2027.
An author by passion, a transformational speaker by experience, and a woman of God by calling. In 2023, she was consecrated as a prophet of God under the leadership of her pastor and served as a leader in her church, New Hope Fellowship, under Pastors Jay and Lady Tori Brown.
Knowing that "I can do all this through him who gives me strength (Phil 4:13)" there's no telling just how far she'll go with the strength given to her.
More Than a Woman in Business
Ebony Nicole is not just a businesswoman but a dedicated community member.
In addition to her role as the co-founder and Vice President of the Rochester Black Authors Association, she is the former radio co-host of The Inspirational Experience on 100.9 WXIR FM, the host of the FB Live Show Become Bold in Your Storytelling, the host of Black Authors ROC podcast, and the Recruitment and Retention Coordinator for the Rochester Black Men Achieve.
She is a mentor to aspiring authors and publishers, and her service on various community boards reflects her passion and personal mission in life.
