Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, Memoir Mavens has covered you. You'll be encouraged to share your journey, from the highs and lows to the unexpected turns that make your story unique. With a focus on empowerment, education, and entertainment, this workshop is a safe space to unleash your creativity and connect with like-minded women.

Plus, you'll get expert guidance from experienced memoir writers who know how to navigate the often-tricky publishing world.

Day One
Publishing 101

Learn how to self-publish your book like a pro! From editing to formatting, securing your work to reading it for release, you'll walk away with the knowledge I've obtained over the last decade.

Introducing the "Bold & Young Girls Writers" Scholarship: My latest project is creating a scholarship program for young women writers aged between 16 and 18. The scholarship will cover the program’s cost and encourage young women to pursue their dreams of becoming published authors.

Young & Bold Girl Writers Scholarship

Introducing the "Bold & Young Girl Writers" Scholarship: My latest project is creating a scholarship program for young women writers ages 16 and 18.

The scholarship will cover the program’s cost and encourage young women to pursue their dreams of becoming published authors. The application process requires submitting a one-page essay detailing why the applicant should be awarded the scholarship, their book topic, and what becoming a published author would mean to them. Additionally, applicants will be asked to explain the outcomes of writing and releasing the book they seek to publish.

A committee of memoir writers will read and vote on the top five scholarship applicants. The winners will be contacted by phone and email with the program details and deadlines for attendance on Friday, Feb., 21, 2025.
